I'm a professional writer, which sure beats working for a living. Before stumbling onto this gig (and occasionally while trying to make up for a shortage of cash whilst performing this gig), I have served time as a tech support manager, a software QA analyst, a lab technician, a waiter, a pizza cook, a retail customer service rep, an industrial electrician, a painter, a tour guide, a vacuum salesman, a telemarketer, a bottle washer, an at-game sports-fan photographer, an office assistant, a grocery bagger, a library assistant, a professional card player and probably a few other things I can't recall right now. Writing for money beats all of those things (playing cards for money came close).
I've was born in Wyoming and lived a good chunk of my life there (probably 12-14 years). I've also lived in Texas, California, Pennsylvania and North Carolina and I've at least passed through 36-38 of the lower 48 states. I currently live in Colorado with no plans to leave.
I write about music, movies, books, video games and freaky, weird fringe culture shit. I have a wonderful girlfriend and a brilliant daughter. I also have two ex-wives, significant student loan debt and a great number of scars.
